It opens closes well and has the metal picture retaining shims for both sides. It weighs approx. 3. 63g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. The rolled gold looks great, I thought it was solid gold at one point. It has rich and strong finish with some wear in areas as to be expected with age and use.
