ANIMALS BY REGTS DELFT TILES polish folk Rafaela de Ascanio’s work unfoldsThis series features 28 hand painted scenes, each one directly copied from a set of 17th century reclaimed Delft tiles. There are 28 unique scenes depicting a wide variety of animals, such as dogs, horses, a leopard, sheep, a goat, a monkey, a bull and many more. These tiles bring a lively rhythm and timeless warmth to any space. Pinholes were part of the tile production process before 1860. A wooden board was used to stabilize the clay during
