It is interlined through the skirt and the bodice with a fine black silk organza and the inner skirt is suspended form a panel of this same organza so that you get no extra weight or fabric directly under the hip

All of the pieces were carefully stored and are in extraordinary condition

This Fall 2006 coat is a great example of the work that Marc Jacobs was doing during his time there as Creative Director and still feels fresh style wise now
