Speckled Gold and Orange Tassel (M260) Fragment The base frame has applied18th century Italian speckled mecca gold leaf and orange church tassel ornament with original hook. The gilded tassel has naturally distressed over time which shows the original orange bole underneath and creates a unique pattern to the tassel. The tassel originally came from an Italian church in Tuscany and was used during feast days. Each one is hand carved and gilded and can be configured into a holiday ornament and decorations to recreate a Rococo
