It has wide light blue satin binding all around the edges. This fabric for the back of the lovey is a tone on tone dark blue. The binding is zig zag stitched all the way around. This prevents little fingers from trying to undo the binding. My children had these and they are wonderful for children for security blankets. They are small (approximately 18" x 21")
