Any sweetness on the palate (dark cherries in chocolate, peaches in syrup, cola, brown sugar, crpes) was beaten into submission by massive hammerbeam oak, burnt heather, old cognac, espresso, cough medicine, cinnamon, ginger and chilli. The reduced nose found
