its surfaces stripped back by decades of damp and neglect

Spray cans and debris cover the grime darkened carpet, and graffiti marks the far wall. The Smith Street workshop and service centre for Sundell Holden, authorised Holden dealer code 610 in Chatswood, had been emptied and left to other makers before its demolition around 2021.
